I've been working all day. Had a plan to write something with more content, but my time is up, so I thought I'd do something random.

I am thankful for:
- Making the bus this morning even though I was so late. I ran, and got on just in time.
- Against all odds, I've found someone who can take care of my dog while I go to Nigeria in July/August this year. 1 down, 1 to go.
- My BIL whom I talked about earlier in another post was stopped in Germany and put into an asylum camp. This sounds awful but it was Gods way of telling him that it wasn't meant to be - so he was completely turned off and decided to go back home. Now my MIL don't have to be alone and we can help him develop his life there.
- My sweet friend S who just genuinly cares about my wellbeing even though we rarily see each other.
- My boss just told me I could go home early
- My health and my entire family's health. We are all alive and well.
- My brother is going to have his first baby! Maybe that'll make him a family man..finally *laughs*
- My mother and I's relationship. It's been terrible all my life but thankfully it all changed to the better these last couple of years.
- all the good music, banging in my ears every day, that makes me feel light, hopeful and see the world as a more beautiful place
- It's Friday and tomorrow I can sleep a little longer!
- I got an appointment at the physio so maybe my back and waist problems can finally be resolved, I hope.
- Blogville for making my days more educational, entertaining, touching and thoughtful. Thank you.

I wanted to write more but time I make a shorter post.

Have a wonderful weekend.

@ GNG - aww thank you for all your sweet wishes! To be honest about my BIL - this is what he said, but we never know..I will believe that he goes back home when he does. I guess he will have to deal with some wahala..his crazy boss is mad at him etc. But if he goes home NOW he won't have lost too much, however if he waits longer it'll be a different story :-s I'm thankful for you GNG you too sweet :-D

@ Gee - thanks! Thankfulness brings more thankfulness :-)

@ NDQ - thanks I am glad that I can be a part of that. I will try to do this regular now like GNG.

@ Funms - I'm grateful for your holiday too and I hope it will give you the perspective and rest and peace you need!

@ Lolia - That makes us 2! I love love love dogs too! I have a black lab and a nigerian alsatian mix, he looks like a mix of german shepard and a whippet like greyhound u know? He's gorgeous :-D What kind do you have?

Its encouraging to see you thankful for even the things that did not go as you expected...reminds me of a song by bebe and cece (count it all joy), hope your back and waist feel better soon too, is the pain caused by stress?...
Have a blast this weekend dear

For you becoming an aunt soon, for you and your mother's relationship, for your BIL and MIL: I am thankful too. I am glad you took a moment to count your blessings. So needed. So needed.

Ha! Your BIL decided to return home? great!

I really can't imagine what it is like not to have a good relationship with one's mom. I'm grateful that yours with yours (no pun intended. lol!) has greatly improved!

Adaeze April 6, 2009 at 11:51 AM

@ Blogoratti - Thanks! I will try to do it regularily. Good for the soul.

@ jhazmyn - Thank you. I'm not feeling better yet, I've been really bad for a year and a half now and YEs it is caused by stress. Ain't that funny lol.

@ Omo Oba - Thank you dear your comments are always appreciated!Thank you for being thankful for me!

@ Novisi - Lol, ain't easy. Are you good enough to do it every day? I try. My brother always said "Smile to the world and the world will smile back"

@ Standtall - lol yeah it was REALLY scary for me in particular! I'm glad I didn't hurt him, haha..
I want to go to a self defence course when I get the chance , get a little empowered :-P

@ Nana - Wow than you for that sweet comment. Funny, its not easy and I've been thinking I'm quite a pessimistic person, but I know for sure I am extremely positive. So positive its tiring sometimes cuz I never give up. Oh well..I'm so glad if you feel you get something from my posts..

@ Enkay - Yes, well at a second thought I am unsure whether he is returning or not after all.. I hope I didn't jinx it! I am SO thankful for it too. My life quality was just awful when me and her were having problems. I grew up not being able to talk to her about anything and ended up with so much stored anger and frustration. I am so thankful it's not like that anymore! And thankful for you - I haven't seen you in a while!

Make my day!
